Joshua 9:15

9:15 Joshua made a peace treaty with them and agreed to let them live. The leaders of the community ¹  sealed it with an oath. ² 

Joshua 24:25

24:25 That day Joshua drew up an agreement ³  for the people, and he established rules and regulations ⁴  for them in Shechem.

Joshua 9:6-7

9:6 They came to Joshua at the camp in Gilgal and said to him and the men of Israel, “We have come from a distant land. Make a treaty with us.” 9:7 The men of Israel said to the Hivites, “Perhaps you live near us. ⁵  So how can we make a treaty with you?”

Joshua 9:16

9:16 Three days after they made the treaty with them, the Israelites found out they were from the local area and lived nearby. ⁶ 

Joshua 3:3

3:3 and commanded the people: “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God ⁷  being carried by the Levitical priests, you must leave here ⁸  and walk ⁹  behind it.

Joshua 3:17

3:17 The priests carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firmly on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan. All Israel crossed over on dry ground until the entire nation was on the other side. ¹⁰ 

Joshua 4:7

4:7 tell them how the water of the Jordan stopped flowing ¹¹  before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the water of the Jordan stopped flowing. ¹²  These stones will be a lasting memorial for the Israelites.”

Joshua 4:18

4:18 The priests carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord came up from the middle of the Jordan, and as soon as they set foot on dry land, ¹³  the water of the Jordan flowed again and returned to flood stage. ¹⁴ 

Joshua 6:8

6:8 When Joshua gave the army its orders, ¹⁵  the seven priests carrying the seven rams’ horns before the Lord moved ahead and blew the horns as the ark of the covenant of the Lord followed behind.

Joshua 7:15

7:15 The one caught with the riches ¹⁶  must be burned up ¹⁷  along with all who belong to him, because he violated the Lord’s covenant and did such a disgraceful thing in Israel.’”

Joshua 9:11

9:11 Our leaders and all who live in our land told us, ‘Take provisions for your journey and go meet them. Tell them, “We are willing to be your subjects. ¹⁸  Make a treaty with us.”’

Joshua 23:16

23:16 If you violate the covenantal laws of the Lord your God which he commanded you to keep, ¹⁹  and follow, worship, and bow down to other gods, ²⁰  the Lord will be very angry with you and you will disappear ²¹  quickly from the good land which he gave to you.”

Joshua 8:33

8:33 All the people, ²²  rulers, ²³  leaders, and judges were standing on either side of the ark, in front of the Levitical priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord. Both resident foreigners and native Israelites were there. ²⁴  Half the people stood in front of Mount Gerizim and the other half in front of Mount Ebal, as Moses the Lord’s servant had previously instructed to them to do for the formal blessing ceremony. ²⁵
