Leviticus 26:7-8

26:7 You will pursue your enemies and they will fall before you by the sword. ¹  26:8 Five of you will pursue a hundred, and a hundred of you will pursue ten thousand, and your enemies will fall before you by the sword.

Deuteronomy 28:7

28:7 The Lord will cause your enemies who attack ²  you to be struck down before you; they will attack you from one direction ³  but flee from you in seven different directions.

Deuteronomy 32:30

32:30 How can one man chase a thousand of them, ⁴ 

and two pursue ten thousand;

unless their Rock had delivered them up, ⁵ 

and the Lord had handed them over?
