-
[Lev 17:11] I Have Found A Precious Resting Place
I have found a precious resting place
In the shelter of redeeming grace;
Here with joy I see my Savior’s face,
Under the atoning blood.Refrain
Under the atoning blood of the Lamb,
Under the atoning blood of the Lamb,
Safely I am hiding, constantly abiding,
Under the atoning blood.Where shall I the praise of Christ begin?
Gone the heavy burden of my sin!
Grace has changed the world I’m living in,
Under the atoning blood.Refrain
Evil shall not here my soul ensnare;
Tenderly I’m kept with jealous care.
Jesus walks beside me everywhere,
Under the atoning blood.Refrain
Now its healing power makes me whole;
Through its merit Jesus saves my soul.
Savior, keep me while the ages roll
Under the atoning blood.Refrain

[Lev 19:2] Take Time To Be Holy
Take time to be holy, speak oft with thy Lord;
Abide in Him always, and feed on His Word.
Make friends of God’s children, help those who are weak,
Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek.Take time to be holy, the world rushes on;
Spend much time in secret, with Jesus alone.
By looking to Jesus, like Him thou shalt be;
Thy friends in thy conduct His likeness shall see.Take time to be holy, let Him be thy Guide;
And run not before Him, whatever betide.
In joy or in sorrow, still follow the Lord,
And, looking to Jesus, still trust in His Word.Take time to be holy, be calm in thy soul,
Each thought and each motive beneath His control.
Thus led by His Spirit to fountains of love,
Thou soon shalt be fitted for service above.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Lev 19:18] A Beautiful Life
Each day I’ll do a golden deed,
By helping those who are in need,
My life on earth is but a span,
And so I’ll do the best I can,
The best I can.Refrain
Life’s evening sun is sinking low,
A few more days and I must go
To meet the deeds that I have done,
Where there will be no setting sun.To be a child of God each day,
My light must shine along the way;
I’ll sing His praise while ages roll
And strive to help some troubled soul,
Some troubled soul.Refrain
The only life that will endure,
Is one that’s kind and good and pure;
And so for God I’ll take my stand,
Each day I’ll lend a helping hand,
A helping hand.Refrain
I’ll help someone in time of need,
And journey on with rapid speed;
I’ll help the sick and poor and weak,
And words of kindness to them speak,
Kind words I’ll speak.Refrain
While going down life’s weary road,
I’ll try to lift some traveler’s load;
I’ll try to turn the night to day,
Make flowers bloom along the way,
The lonely way.Refrain

[Lev 19:18] Is There A Heart Bent O’er With Sorrow?
Is there a heart bent o’erbound by sorrow?
Is there a life weighed down by care?
Come to the cross, each burden bearing;
All your anxiety—leave it there.Refrain
All your anxiety, all your care,
Bring to the mercy seat, leave it there,
Never a burden He cannot bear,
Never a friend like Jesus!No other friend so swift to help you,
No other friend so quick to hear,
No other place to leave your burden,
No other one to hear your prayer.Refrain
Come then at once; delay no longer!
Heed His entreaty kind and sweet,
You need not fear a disappointment;
You shall find peace at the mercy seat.Refrain

[Lev 19:18] Teach Us, O Lord, True Brotherhood
Teach us, O Lord, true brotherhood,
In daily thought and deed,
That we may tread with humble heart,
The path where Thou dost lead.Give us the courage, Lord, to fight
With Thee all greed of gold,
To fight until Thy kingdom’s won,
Thy kingdom long foretold.Love then shall reign supreme o’er all,
O’er heart and mind and hand,
Eternal love and brotherhood
In all this storm tossed land.With vision clear and steadfast heart
So let us follow Thee,
E’en though it be that weary road
Which leads to Calvary.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Lev 20:7] My Life, Dear Lord, I Give To Thee
My life, dear Lord, I give to Thee
In humble faith and loyalty,
To be Thine own in what is planned,
And heed with joy Thy love’s command.Show me the trails that turn and climb
Through lonely deeps to heights sublime,
Yet never lose their touch with life,
Its endless round of peace and strife.I pray for tasks that ease the load
On other hearts along the road;
And love forgiving, patient, tried,
To quicken faith and hope beside.Gird me with light whose rays and heat
Shall blaze a path to Thy blest seat,
That halting steps, no more afraid,
May reach the goals for which they’ve prayed.O grant me grace to serve with Thee
In love unfailing, pure, and free;
Guide me in trails which few have trod,
Whose winding ways lead home to God.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Lev 23:3] Holy Sabbath
Holy Sabbath, day of rest;
By our great Redeemer blest;
When in majesty He rose,
More than conqueror o’er His foes.Refrain
Softly now we hear Him say,
“Turn from earthly toil away;
Let your pray’rs to Heaven ascend;
I will keep you to the end.”Day of worship, hallowed hour,
May the Spirit’s quick’ning pow’r
Give us grace and strength anew,
While our journey we pursue.Refrain
Holy Sabbath, may thy light,
Pure and holy, calm and bright,
Lift our hearts to God above,
Spring of joy, of life, of love.Refrain

[Lev 23:3] Opening Hymn
Another Sabbath day has come,
Another week is o’er;
And we, a grateful, happy throng,
Are gathered here once more:
We meet to sing of Jesus’ love,
And bow to Him in prayer,
We meet to read His holy Word,
And learn our duty there.Our Sunday school, our Sunday school;
No place on earth so dear!
How many precious souls have found
The way to glory here;
And now around the shining throne
They wait for us to come
And share with them the fadeless love
Of their eternal home.Oh, may the seed thus early sown
Spring up on goodly ground,
And in our hearts, our souls and lives
May fruit of grace abound—
Immortal fruit, that yet shall bloom
In paradise above,
Where we, with those now gone before,
Shall sing redeeming love.Play source: Cyberhymnal -
[Lev 25:9] Blow Ye The Trumpet, Blow
Blow ye the trumpet, blow!
The gladly solemn sound
Let all the nations know,
To earth’s remotest bound:Refrain

The year of jubilee is come!
Return, ye ransomed sinners, home.Jesus, our great high priest,
Hath full atonement made,
Ye weary spirits, rest;
Ye mournful souls, be glad:Refrain
Extol the Lamb of God,
The sin atoning Lamb;
Redemption by His blood
Throughout the lands proclaim:Refrain
Ye slaves of sin and hell,
Your liberty receive,
And safe in Jesus dwell,
And blest in Jesus live:Refrain
Ye who have sold for naught
Your heritage above
Shall have it back unbought,
The gift of Jesus’ love:Refrain

The news of heavenly grace;
And saved from earth, appear
Before your Savior’s face:Refrain

Awake! Awake! the Master now is calling us,
Arise! Arise! And, trusting in His Word,
Go forth! Go forth! Proclaim the year of jubilee,
And take the cross, the blessèd cross of Christ our Lord.Refrain
On, on, swell the chorus,
On, on, the morning star is shining o’er us;
On, on, while before us,
Our mighty, mighty Savior leads the way.
Glory, glory, hear the everlasting throng,
Shout “Hosanna!” while we boldly march along;
Faithful soldiers here below, only Jesus will we know;
Shouting “Free salvation!” o’er the world we go.A cry for light from dying ones in heathen lands;
It comes, it comes across the ocean’s foam;
Then haste! Oh, haste to spread the words of truth abroad,
Forgetting not the starving poor at home, dear home.Refrain
O Church of God, extend thy kind, maternal arms,
To save the lost on mountains dark and cold;
Reach out thy hand with loving smile to rescue them,
And bring them to the shelter of the Savior’s fold.Refrain
Look up! Look up! The promised day is drawing near,
When all shall hail, shall hail the Savior King;
When peace and joy shall fold their wings in every clime,
And “Glory, hallelujah!” o’er the earth shall ring.Refrain

“Our land for Christ” we sing;
Our hearts to Him we bring,
And trust His Word;
With His dear cross in view,
Each Christian grace renew,
And make endeavor true
For Christ our Lord.Refrain
Our land for Christ we gladly sing,
Our hearts to Him, to Him we bring,
And make endeavor firm and true
For Christ, our Lord and King.“Our land for Christ” we sing;
Away earth’s follies fling,
And seek His love:
Ours be a heav’nly prize,
Unseen by mortal eyes,
In mansions in the skies,
With Him above.Refrain
“Our land for Christ” we sing;
Christ, Prophet, Priest, and King,
Whom saints adore;
Each day some duty done,
Some Christian work begun,
Some soul to Jesus won,
We ask no more.Refrain

Our all to Him we bring,
With one accord;
Sinners, from sin set free,
His wondrous grace shall see,

To others across the deep blue,

O say will that someone be you?Refrain
Someone must tell of the blessing
That comes with each morning so new,
The goodness of Jesus confessing,
O say will that someone be you?Refrain

Someone must to Jesus be true,
And carry; to each waiting nation
The story that always is new.Refrain

[Lev 25:10] Wake The Song Of Jubilee
Wake the song of jubilee,
Let it echo o’er the sea!
Now is come the promised hour,
Jesus reigns with sov’reign power.
All ye nations, join and sing,
Christ of lords and kings is King.
Let it sound from shore to shore
Jesus reigns forevermore.Now the desert lands rejoice,
And the islands join their voice,
Yea, the whole creation sings,
“Jesus is the King of kings.”
See the ransomed millions stand,
Palms of conquest in their hands,
This before the throne their strain,
Hell is vanquished, death is slain.Blessing, honor, glory, might
Are the Conqu’ror’s native right;
Thrones and powers before Him fall,
Lamb of God and Lord of all.
Time has nearly reached its sum;
All things with the bride say, “Come.”
Jesus, whom all worlds adore,
Come, and reign forevermore.Play source: Cyberhymnal
