Leviticus 17:5

Context
17:5 This is so that 1  the Israelites will bring their sacrifices that they are sacrificing in the open field 2  to the Lord at the entrance of the Meeting Tent to the priest and sacrifice them there as peace offering sacrifices to the Lord.

Leviticus 22:22

22:22 “‘You must not present to the Lord something blind, or with a broken bone, or mutilated, or with a running sore, 3  or with a festering eruption, or with a feverish rash. 4  You must not give any of these as a gift 5  on the altar to the Lord.

27:28 “‘Surely anything which a man permanently dedicates to the Lord 13  from all that belongs to him, whether from people, animals, or his landed property, must be neither sold nor redeemed; anything permanently dedicated is most holy to the Lord.

NLT “a solemn closing assembly.”

[27:28]  9 tn Heb “Surely, any permanently dedicated [thing] which a man shall permanently dedicate to the Lord.” The Hebrew term חֵרֶם (kherem) refers to things that are devoted permanently to the Lord (see the note on v. 21 above).
