2:13 Moreover, you must season every one of your grain offerings with salt; you must not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be missing from your grain offering ¹  – on every one of your grain offerings you must present salt.

Leviticus 24:8

24:8 Each Sabbath day ²  Aaron ³  must arrange it before the Lord continually; this portion ⁴  is from the Israelites as a perpetual covenant.

Leviticus 26:25

26:25 I will bring on you an avenging sword, a covenant vengeance. ⁵  Although ⁶  you will gather together into your cities, I will send pestilence among you and you will be given into enemy hands. ⁷

[24:8]  ² tn Heb “In the day of the Sabbath, in the day of the Sabbath.” The repetition is distributive. A few medieval Hebrew mss, the LXX, and the Syriac delete the second occurrence of the expression.
