Leviticus 25:16

25:16 The more years there are, ¹  the more you may make its purchase price, and the fewer years there are, ²  the less you must make its purchase price, because he is only selling to you a number of years of ³  produce.

Leviticus 25:51

25:51 If there are still many years, in keeping with them ⁴  he must refund most of the cost of his purchase for his redemption,

27:22 “‘If he consecrates to the Lord a field he has purchased, ⁵  which is not part of his own landed property,

[25:16]  ³ tn Heb “a number of produce”; the words “years of” are implied. As an alternative this could be translated “a number of harvests” (cf. NRSV, NLT).

[25:51]  ⁴ tn Heb “to the mouth of them.”

[27:22]  ⁷ tn Heb “his field of purchase,” which is to be distinguished from his own ancestral “landed property” (cf. v. 16 above).
