Leviticus 27:19

27:19 If, however, the one who consecrated the field redeems it, 1  he must add to it one fifth of the conversion price 2  and it will belong to him. 3

25:30 If it is not redeemed before the full calendar year is ended, 4  the house in the walled city 5  will belong without reclaim 6  to the one who bought it throughout his generations; it will not revert in the jubilee.

[27:19]  1 tn Heb “And if redeeming [infinitive absolute] he redeems [finite verb] the field, the one who consecrated it.” For the infinitive absolute used to highlight contrast rather than emphasis see GKC 343 §113.p.

[25:30]  5 tn Heb “the house which [is] in the city which to it [is] a wall.” The Kethib has לֹא (lo’, “no, not”) rather than לוֹ (lo, “to it”) which is the Qere.
