6:22 The high priest who succeeds him ¹  from among his sons must do it. It is a perpetual statute; it must be offered up in smoke as a whole offering to the Lord.

7:36 This is what the Lord commanded to give to them from the Israelites on the day Moses ²  anointed them ³  – a perpetual allotted portion throughout their generations. ⁴

[7:36]  ³ tn Heb “which the Lord commanded to give to them in the day he anointed them from the children of Israel.” Thus v. 36 is tied syntactically to v. 35 (see the note there).
