The Peace Offering

7:11 “‘This is the law of the peace offering sacrifice which he ¹  is to present to the Lord.

Leviticus 18:19

18:19 “‘You must not approach a woman in her menstrual impurity ²  to have sexual intercourse with her.

Leviticus 23:25

23:25 You must not do any regular work, but ³  you must present a gift to the Lord.’”

[7:11]  ¹ tn This “he” pronoun refers to the offerer. Smr and LXX have plural “they.”

[18:19]  ² tn Heb “in the menstruation of her impurity”; NIV “during the uncleanness of her monthly period.”

[23:25]  ³ tn Heb “and.” The Hebrew conjunction ו (vav, “and”) can be considered to have adversative force here (cf. KJV, NASB, NIV).
