15:19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; treat me ¹  like one of your hired workers.”’

23:41 And we rightly so, for we are getting what we deserve for what we did, but this man has done nothing ⁴  wrong.”

[15:19]  ¹ tn Or “make me.” Here is a sign of total humility.

[23:15]  ² sn With the statement “he has done nothing,” Pilate makes another claim that Jesus is innocent of any crime worthy of death.

[23:15]  ³ tn Grk “nothing deserving death has been done by him.” The passive construction has been translated as an active one in keeping with contemporary English style.

[23:41]  ³ sn This man has done nothing wrong is yet another declaration that Jesus was innocent of any crime.
