  1. Hai malaikat dari sorga, sayapmu bentangkanlah; nyanyi di seluruh dunia: lahir Kristus, Rajanya! Sudah lahir Kristus Raja, mari sujud menyembah!	Luk 2:8-14

  	Yoh 19:25
  1. Lihat bunda yang berduka di depan salib Sang Put'ra; air mata bergenang. O betapa jiwa ibu tersedu menanggung pilu, bagai ditembus pedang.	Luk 2:35
  2. Bunda Put'ra Tunggal Allah disebut "yang berbahagia" kini sangat bersedih. Hatinya dirundung duka, kar'na Put'ra yang termulia bersengsara di salib.	Luk 1:28, 42
  3. O siapa tidak pilu menyaksikan bunda Kristus menangisi Put'ranya? Dan siapa tak tergugah menyelami duka bunda Dalam siksa Anaknya?
  4. Dilihatnya Yesus, Put'ra, yang tersiksa dan terluka kar'na dosa umatNya dan bergumul sendirian menghadapi kematian menyerahkan nyawaNya.
  5. Wahai bunda, sumber kasih, biar turut kuhayati dukamu yang mencekam; biar hatiku bernyala mengasihi Put'ra Allah dan padaNya berkenan.
  6. Biarlah sengsara aib dari Dia yang tersalib tersemat di hatiku; yang ditanggungNya bagiku kudekap bersamamu.
  7. Biar aku disampingmu pilu kar'na wafat Kristus di sepanjang hidupku; inilah keinginanku: di dekat salib Put'ramu besertamu tersedu.
  8. O perawan yang terpilih, perkenankan aku ini ikut dikau bersedih; biar kematian Tuhan dan darahNya yang tercurah kukenangkan tak henti.
  9. Biar aku pun terluka, menghayati salib Tuhan, digerakkan kasihNya. Hatiku engkau kobarkan; biar aku dibebaskan dalam penghakimanNya.
  10. Biarlah salib Tuhanku jadi benteng naunganku dan kurasa rahmatNya. Bila nanti aku mati, biar aku mewarisi kemuliaan yang baka.

  At the cross, her station keeping, Stood the mournful mother weeping, Where He hung, the dying Lord; For her soul of joy bereavèd, Bowed with anguish, deeply grievèd, Felt the sharp and piercing sword. Oh, how sad and sore distressèd Now was she, that mother blessèd Of the sole begotten One; Deep the woe of her affliction, When she saw the crucifixion Of her ever glorious Son. Who, on Christ’s dear mother gazing Pierced by anguish so amazing Born of woman, would not weep? Who, on Christ’s dear mother thinking Such a cup of sorrow drinking Would not share her sorrows deep? For His people’s sins chastisèd, She beheld her Son despisèd, Scourged, and crowned with thorns entwined; Saw Him then from judgment taken, And in death by all forsaken, Till His Spirit He resigned. Jesu, may her deep devotion Stir in me the same emotion, Fount of love, Redeemer kind, That my heart fresh ardor gaining, And a purer love attaining, May with Thee acceptance find.

  Near the cross, her vigil keeping, Stood the mother, worn with weeping, Where He hung, the dying Lord; Through her soul, in anguish groaning, Bowed in sorrow, sighing, moaning, Passed the sharp and piercing sword. O the weight of her affliction! Hers, who won God’s benediction, Hers, who bore God’s Holy One: O that speechless, ceaseless yearning! O those dim eyes never turning From her wondrous, suffering Son! Who upon that mother gazing, In her trouble so amazing, Born of woman, would not weep? Who of Christ’s dear mother thinking, While her Son that cup is drinking, Would not share her sorrow deep? For His people’s sin chastisèd She beheld her Son despisèd, Bound and bleeding ’neath the rod; Saw the Lord’s Anointed taken, Dying desolate, forsaken, Heard Him yield His soul to God. Near Thy cross, O Christ, abiding, Grief and love my heart dividing, I with her would take my place; By Thy guardian cross uphold me, In Thy dying, Christ, enfold me With the deathless arms of grace.

  Near the cross was Mary weeping, There her mournful station keeping, Gazing on her dying Son; There in speechless anguish groaning, Yearning, trembling, sighing, moaning, Through her soul the sword had gone. When no eye its pity gave us, When there was no arm to save us, He His love and power displayed: By His stripes He wrought our healing, By His death, our life revealing, He for us the ransom paid. Jesus, may Thy love constrain us, That from sin we may refrain us, In Thy griefs may deeply grieve; Thee our best affections giving, To Thy glory ever living, May we in Thy glory live.

• [Luk 10:21] O Lord Of Heav’n And Earth And Sea

  O Lord of Heav’n and earth and sea, To Thee all praise and glory be; How shall we show our love to Thee, Who givest all? The golden sunshine, vernal air, Sweet flowers and fruits, Thy love declare; Where harvests ripen, Thou art there, Who givest all. For peaceful homes and healthful days, For all the blessings earth displays, We owe Thee thankfulness and praise, Who givest all. Thou didst not spare Thine only Son, But gav’st Him for a world undone, And freely, with that blessèd One, Thou givest all. Thou giv’st the Spirit’s blessèd dower, Spirit of life and love and power, And dost His sevenfold graces shower Upon us all. For souls redeemed, for sins forgiv’n, For means of grace and hopes of Heav’n, Father, all praise to Thee be giv’n, Who givest all. We lose what on ourselves we spend, We have as treasure without end Whatever, Lord, to Thee we lend, Who givest all. Whatever, Lord, we lend to Thee, Repaid a thousand-fold will be; Then gladly will we give to Thee Who givest all.
