“Ask for the showers of blessing,
Ye shall not seek Me in vain”;
After the voice of confessing,
“Sound of abundance of rain.” Refrain Ask for the rain, ask not in vain;
“I will pour water on him that is thirsty,
And floods upon the dry ground.” “Bring all the ‘tithes’ to My storehouse,
Prove Me herewith,” saith the Lord;
Windows of heaven shall open,

Mine all the houses and lands;
