Mark 1:15

1:15 He ¹  said, “The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God ²  is near. Repent and believe the gospel!”

Mark 12:2

12:2 At harvest time he sent a slave ³  to the tenants to collect from them ⁴  his portion of the crop. ⁵

[1:15]  ² sn The kingdom of God is a reference to the sovereign activity of God as he rules over his creation and brings his plans to realization.

[12:2]  ⁴ tn Grk “from the tenants,” but this is redundant in English, so the pronoun (“them”) was used in the translation.
