[9:19] 1 tn Grk “And answering, he said to them.” The participle ἀποκριθείς (apokriqeis) is redundant, but the phrasing of the sentence was modified slightly to make it clearer in English.

It was God’s work of love from beginning to end. Moses simply had his task to perform.

Sometimes it is thought the ancients were gullible enough to believe anything. But these disciples needed convincing about the resurrection.
