9:11 Then ¹  they asked him, ²  “Why do the experts in the law ³  say that Elijah must come first?”

13:7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. ⁴

[9:11]  ² tn Grk “And they were asking him, saying.” The participle λέγοντες (legontes) is redundant and has not been translated.
