Matthew 13:23
Context13:23 But as for the seed sown on good soil, this is the person who hears the word and understands. He bears fruit, yielding a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown.” 3
Matthew 25:45
Context25:45 Then he will answer them, 4 ‘I tell you the truth, 5 just as you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for me.’

[11:11] 1 tn Grk “Truly (ἀμήν, amhn), I say to you.”
[11:11] 2 sn After John comes a shift of eras. The new era is so great that the lowest member of it (the one who is least in the kingdom of God) is greater than the greatest one of the previous era.
[13:23] 3 tn The Greek is difficult to translate because it switches from a generic “he” to three people within this generic class (thus, something like: “Who indeed bears fruit and yields, in one instance a hundred times, in another, sixty times, in another, thirty times”).
[25:45] 5 tn Grk “answer them, saying.” The participle λέγων (legwn) is redundant in contemporary English and has not been translated.
