Matthew 13:5-6

13:5 Other ¹  seeds fell on rocky ground ²  where they did not have much soil. They sprang up quickly because the soil was not deep. ³  13:6 But when the sun came up, they were scorched, and because they did not have sufficient root, they withered.

Matthew 13:20-21

13:20 The ⁴  seed sown on rocky ground ⁵  is the person who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy. 13:21 But he has no root in himself and does not endure; ⁶  when ⁷  trouble or persecution comes because of the word, immediately he falls away.
