Micah 4:1

Context
Better Days Ahead for Jerusalem

4:1 In the future 1  the Lord’s Temple Mount will be the most important mountain of all; 2 

it will be more prominent than other hills. 3 

People will stream to it.

Micah 6:16

Context

6:16 You implement the regulations of Omri,

and all the practices of Ahab’s dynasty; 4 

you follow their policies. 5 

Therefore I will make you an appalling sight, 6 

the city’s 7  inhabitants will be taunted derisively, 8 

and nations will mock all of you.” 9 

Micah 7:9

Context

7:9 I must endure 10  the Lord’s anger,

for I have sinned against him.

But then 11  he will defend my cause, 12 

and accomplish justice on my behalf.

He will lead me out into the light;

I will experience firsthand 13  his deliverance. 14 

Micah 7:18

Context

7:18 There is no other God like you! 15 

You 16  forgive sin

and pardon 17  the rebellion

of those who remain among your people. 18 

You do not remain angry forever, 19 

but delight in showing loyal love.
