Micah 7:10

7:10 When my enemies see this, they will be covered with shame.

They say ¹  to me, “Where is the Lord your God?”

I will gloat over them. ² 

Then they will be trampled down ³ 

like mud in the streets.

Micah 6:8

6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good,

and what the Lord really wants from you: ⁴ 

He wants you to ⁵  promote ⁶  justice, to be faithful, ⁷ 

and to live obediently before ⁸  your God.

[6:8]  ⁴ sn What the Lord really wants from you. Now the prophet switches roles and answers the hypothetical worshiper’s question. He makes it clear that the Lord desires proper attitudes more than ritual and sacrifice.
