10:9 The Levites were as follows:

Jeshua ¹  son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel.

Nehemiah 12:10

12:10 Jeshua was the father of ²  Joiakim, Joiakim was the father of Eliashib, Eliashib was the father of Joiada,

[10:9]  ¹ tc With many medieval Hebrew manuscripts and the ancient versions the translation reads יְשׁוּעַ (yÿshua’, “Jeshua”) rather than the reading וְיֵשׁוּעַ (vÿyeshua’, “and Jeshua”) of BHS.
