Nehemiah 2:19

2:19 But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official, and Geshem the Arab heard all this, ¹  they derided us and expressed contempt toward us. They said, “What is this you are doing? Are you rebelling against the king?”

Nehemiah 9:11

9:11 You split the sea before them, and they crossed through ²  the sea on dry ground! But you threw their pursuers ³  into the depths, like a stone into surging ⁴  waters.

Nehemiah 9:26

9:26 “Nonetheless they grew disobedient and rebelled against you; they disregarded your law. ⁵  They killed your prophets who had solemnly admonished them in order to cause them to return to you. They committed atrocious blasphemies.
