7:39 The priests:

the descendants of Jedaiah (through the family ¹  of Jeshua), 973;

Nehemiah 12:7

12:7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, and Jedaiah. These were the leaders ²  of the priests and their colleagues ³  in the days of Jeshua.

[12:7]  ² tn Heb “heads” (so also in v. 12).

[12:7]  ³ tn Heb “brothers” (also in vv. 8, 9, 24, 36).
