[15:27] 1 tn The Hebrew text hasוְאִם־נֶפֶשׁ אַחַת (vÿ’im-nefesh ’akhat), sometime translated “and if any soul.” But the word describes the whole person, the soul in the body; it refers here to the individual who sins.
[13:28] 2 tn The word (אֶפֶס, ’efes) forms a very strong adversative. The land was indeed rich and fruitful, but….”
[13:28] 3 tn Heb “the people who are living in the land.”
[21:24] 3 tn The Hebrew text has “Israel,” but the verb is plural.
