Numbers 18:9

18:9 Of all the most holy offerings reserved ¹  from the fire this will be yours: Every offering of theirs, whether from every grain offering or from every purification offering or from every reparation offering which they bring to me, will be most holy for you and for your sons.

Leviticus 6:16

6:16 Aaron and his sons are to eat what is left over from it. It must be eaten unleavened in a holy place; they are to eat it in the courtyard of the Meeting Tent.

Leviticus 7:32-34

7:32 The right thigh you must give as a contribution offering ⁹  to the priest from your peace offering sacrifices. 7:33 The one from Aaron’s sons who presents the blood of the peace offering and fat will have the right thigh as his share, 7:34 for the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution offering I have taken from the Israelites out of their peace offering sacrifices and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons from the people of Israel as a perpetual allotted portion.’” ¹⁰ 

Leviticus 10:14-15

10:14 Also, the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution offering you must eat in a ceremonially ¹¹  clean place, you and your sons and daughters with you, for they have been given as your allotted portion and the allotted portion of your sons from the peace offering sacrifices of the Israelites. ¹²  10:15 The thigh of the contribution offering and the breast of the wave offering they must bring in addition to the gifts of the fat parts to wave them as a wave offering before the Lord, and it will belong to you and your sons with you for a perpetual statute just as the Lord has commanded.”

Deuteronomy 12:6

12:6 And there you must take your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the personal offerings you have prepared, ¹³  your votive offerings, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks.

Deuteronomy 12:11

12:11 Then you must come to the place the Lord your God chooses for his name to reside, bringing ¹⁴  everything I am commanding you – your burnt offerings, sacrifices, tithes, the personal offerings you have prepared, ¹⁵  and all your choice votive offerings which you devote to him. ¹⁶ 

Deuteronomy 26:13

26:13 Then you shall say before the Lord your God, “I have removed the sacred offering ¹⁷  from my house and given it to the Levites, the resident foreigners, the orphans, and the widows just as you have commanded me. ¹⁸  I have not violated or forgotten your commandments.

[6:18]  ⁴ tn Heb “touches them”; the referent has been specified in the translation for clarity. In this context “them” must refer to the “gifts” of the Lord.

NAB “a raised offering”). “Contribution offering” is a better English rendering because it refers to something “taken out from” (i.e., “lifted up from”; cf. the Hebrew term הֵרִים (herim) in, e.g., Lev 2:9; 4:8, etc.) the offering as a special contribution to the specific priest who presided over the offering procedures in any particular instance (see the next verse and R. E. Averbeck, NIDOTTE 4:335-37). Cf. TEV “as a special contribution”; NCV, NLT “as a gift.”

Sometimes this is translated as “the sacred portion” (cf. NASB, NIV, NRSV), but that could sound to a modern reader as if a part of the house were being removed and given away.

[26:13]  ¹⁸ tn Heb “according to all your commandment that you commanded me.” This has been simplified in the translation for stylistic reasons.
