  1. Pujian malam kunyanyikan; syukur, ya Tuhan, padaMu. Meskipun sinar surya hilang, Engkau tetap cahayaku. Tiada sayang ibu-bapak yang menandingi sayangMu: Tak putus 'ku Kau pelihara, Kau Sumber rahmat bagiku.	Mat 7:11

• [Psa 7:1] Jehovah, My God, On Thy Help I Depend

  Jehovah, my God, on Thy help I depend; From all that pursue me O save and defend; Lest they like a lion should rend me at will: While no one is near me their raging to still. When wronged without cause I have kindness returned; But if I my neighbor maltreated and spurned, My soul let the enemy seize for his prey, My life and mine honor in dust let him lay. O Lord, in Thy wrath stay the rage of my foes; Awake, and Thy judgment ordained interpose. Let peoples surround Thee and wait at Thy feet, While o’er them for judgment Thou takest Thy seat. All nations of men shall be judged by the Lord; To me, O Jehovah, just judgment accord, As faithful and righteous in life I have been, And ever integrity cherished within. Establish the righteous, let evil depart, For God, who is just, tries the thoughts of the heart. In God for defense I have placed all my trust; The upright He saves and He judges the just. The Lord with the wicked is wroth every day, And if they repent not is ready to slay; By manifold ruin for others prepared They surely at last shall themselves be ensnared. Because He is righteous His praise will I sing, Thanksgiving and honor to Him will I bring, Will sing to the Lord on Whose grace I rely, Extolling the Name of Jehovah Most High.

• [Psa 7:1] My Trust Is In My Heavenly Friend

  My trust is in my heavenly Friend, My hope in Thee, my God; Rise and my helpless life defend From those that seek my blood. With insolence and fury they My soul in pieces tear, As hungry lions rend the prey When no deliverer’s near. If I had e’er provoked them first, Or once abused my foe, Then let him tread my life to dust, And lay mine honor low. If there be malice found in me, I know Thy piercing eyes; I should not dare appeal to Thee, Nor ask my God to rise. Arise, my God, lift up Thy hand, Their pride and power control; Awake to judgment and command Deliverance for my soul. Let sinners and their wicked rage Be humbled to the dust; Shall not the God of truth engage To vindicate the just? He knows the heart, He tries the reins, He will defend th’upright: His sharpest arrows He ordains Against the sons of spite. For me their malice digged a pit, But there themselves are cast; My God makes all their mischief light On their own heads at last. That cruel persecuting race Must feel His dreadful sword; Awake, my soul, and praise the grace And justice of the Lord.

  Another day begun! Lord, grant us grace that we, Before the setting of the sun, Redeem the time for Thee. Another day of toil! To Thee we yield our powers; Keep Thou our souls from guilty soil Through all the passing hours. Another day of fear! For watchful is our foe, And sin is strong, and death is near, And short our time below. Another day of hope! For Thou art with us still, And Thine almighty strength can cope With all who seek our ill. Another day of grace To help us on our way! One step towards the resting-place, The eternal Sabbath-day.

  As the sun doth daily rise, Brightening all the morning skies, So to Thee with one accord Lift we up our hearts, O Lord. Day by day provide us food, For from Thee come all things good; Strength unto our souls afford From Thy living bread, O Lord. Be our guard in sin and strife; Be the leader of our life; Lest from Thee we stray abroad, Stay our wayward feet, O Lord. Quickened by the Spirit’s grace All Thy holy will to trace While we daily search Thy Word, Wisdom true impart, O Lord. Praise we, with the heavenly host, Father, Son and Holy Ghost; Thee would we with one accord Praise and magnify, O Lord.

  I with Thee would begin, O my Savior so dear, On the way that I still must pursue; I with Thee would begin every day granted here, As my earnest resolve I renew To be and remain Thine forever.   Now that the daylight fills the sky, We lift our hearts to God on high, That He, in all we do or say, Would keep us free from harm today. May He restrain our tongues from strife, And shield from anger’s din our life, And guard with watchful care our eyes From earth’s absorbing vanities. O may our inmost hearts be pure, From thoughts of folly kept secure, And pride of sinful flesh subdued Through sparing use of daily food. So we, when this day’s work is o’er, And shades of night return once more, Our path of trial safely trod, Shall give the glory to our God. All praise to God the Father be, All praise, eternal Son, to Thee, Whom with the Spirit we adore Forever and forevermore.

  O Father, hear my morning prayer, Thine aid impart to me, That I may make my life today Acceptable to Thee. May this desire my spirit rule, And, as the moments fly, Something of good be born in me, Something of evil die. Some grace that seeks my heart to win, With shining victory meet; Some sin that strives for mastery Find overthrow complete.   You that have spent the silent night In sleep and quiet rest, And joy to see the cheerful light That riseth in the east, Now clear your voice, now cheer your heart, Come, help me now to sing; Each willing wight, come bear a part, To praise the heavenly King. And you whom care in prison keeps Or sickness doth suppress, Or secret sorrow breaks your sleeps Or dolours to distress: Yet bear a part in humble wise, Yea, think it good accord, And full and fitting sacrifice Each soul to praise the Lord. Unto His joys for to attain God grant us all His grace, And send us after worldly pain In Heav’n to have a place; Where we may still enjoy that light Which never shall decay: Lord, for Thy mercy lend us might To see that joyful day.
