119:67 Before I was afflicted I used to stray off, ¹ 

but now I keep your instructions. ²

119:71 It was good for me to suffer,

so that I might learn your statutes.

119:75 I know, Lord, that your regulations ³  are just.

You disciplined me because of your faithful devotion to me. ⁴
