  1. Hai mari sembah Yang Maha besar, Nyanyian syukur dengan bergemar. Perisai umatNya, Yang Maha esa, Mulia namaNya, takhtaNya megah
  2. Hai masyhurkanlah keagunganNya; cahaya terang itu jubahNya. Gemuruh suaraNya di awan kelam; Berjalanlah Dia di badai kencang.	Mzm 104:1-7
  3. Buana penuh mujizat ajaib, ya Khalik, Engkau membuatnya baik. Engkau memisahkan daratan dan laut Dengan kuasa firman : besarlah Engkau!	Kej 1:3-31 Mzm 104:7-9
  4. PengasuhanMu betapa megah: udara dan t'rang menyatakannya, embun bertetesan dan hutan sejuk, lembah maupun bukit cermin kasihMu!	Mzm 104:10-18
  5. UmatMu lemah dan dari debu, tetap memegang janjiMu teguh. Kasih setiaMu berlimpah terus, Ya Khalik, Pembela dan Kawan kudus!	Mzm 103:14-18

Psalms 1:1

• [Psa 1:1] Blest Is The Man Who Shuns The Place

  Blest is the man who shuns the place Where sinners love to meet; Who fears to tread their wicked ways, And hates the scoffer’s seat. But in the statutes of the Lord Has placed his chief delight; By day he reads or hears the Word, And meditates by night. He, like a plant of generous kind, By living waters set, Safe from the storms and blasting wind, Enjoys a peaceful state. Green as the leaf, and ever fair, Shall his profession shine; While fruits of holiness appear Like clusters on the vine. Not so the impious and unjust; What vain designs they form! Their hopes are blown away like dust, Or chaff before the storm. Sinners in judgment shall not stand Amongst the sons of grace, When Christ, the Judge, at His right hand Appoints His saints a place. His eye beholds the path they tread, His heart approves it well; But crooked ways of sinners lead Down to the gates of hell.

• [Psa 1:1] Happy The Man Whose Cautious Feet

  Happy the man whose cautious feet Shun the broad way that sinners go, Who hates the place where atheists meet, And fears to talk as scoffers do. He loves t’employ the morning light Amongst the statutes of the Lord; And spends the wakeful hours of night, With pleasure, pond’ring o’er His Word. He, like a plant by gentle streams, Shall flourish in immortal green; And Heav’n will shine with kindest beams On ev’ry work his hands begin. But sinners find their counsels cross’d: As chaff before the tempest flies, So shall their hopes be blown and lost, When the last trumpet shakes the skies. In vain the rebel seeks to stand In judgment with the pious race; The dreadful Judge, with stern command, Divides him to a diff’rent place. “Straight is the way My saints have trod; I bless’d the path, and drew it plain; But you would choose the crooked road, And down it leads to endless pain.”

• [Psa 1:1] Man Is Ever Bless’d, The

  The man is ever bless’d Who shuns the sinners’ ways, Among their councils never stands, Nor takes the scorner’s place; But makes the law of God His study and delight, Amidst the labors of the day, And watches of the night. He like a tree shall thrive, With waters near the root; Fresh as the leaf his name shall live; His works are heav’nly fruit. Not so th’ungodly race, They no such blessings find; Their hopes shall flee, like empty chaff Before the driving wind. How will they bear to stand Before that judgment seat, Where all the saints, at Christ’s right hand, In full assembly meet! He knows, and He approves The way the righteous go; But sinners and their works shall meet A dreadful overthrow.

• [Psa 1:1] That Man Is Blest Who, Fearing God

  That man is blest who, fearing God From sin restrains his feet, Who will not stand with wicked men, Who shuns the scorners’ seat. Yea, blest is he who makes God’s law His portion and delight, And meditates upon that law With gladness day and night. That man is nourished like a tree Set by the river’s side; Its leaf is green, its fruit is sure, And thus his works abide. The wicked like the driven chaff Are swept from off the land; They shall not gather with the just, Nor in the judgment stand. The Lord will guard the righteous well, Their way to Him is known; The way of sinners, far from God, Shall surely be o’erthrown.

Psalms 36:1

• [Psa 36:1] Trespass Of The Wicked Man, The

  The trespass of the wicked man Most plainly testifies That fear of God’s most holy Name Is not before his eyes. He cherishes the empty hope, Although his sin be great, It never shall be brought to light And viewed with righteous hate. The words he utters with his mouth Are wickedness and lies; He keeps himself from doing good, And ceases to be wise. While on his bed his thought he gives To planning wickedness; He sets himself in evil ways, He shuns not to transgress.

• [Psa 36:1] While Men Grow Bold In Wicked Ways

  While men grow bold in wicked ways, And yet a God they own, My heart within me often says, “Their thoughts believe there’s none.” Their thoughts and ways at once declare, Whate’er their lips profess, God hath no wrath for them to fear, Nor will they seek His grace. What strange self-flattery blinds their eyes! But there’s a hastening hour, When they shall see with sore surprise The terrors of Thy power. Thy justice shall maintain its throne, Though mountains melt away; Thy judgments are a world unknown, A deep, unfathomed sea. Above the heav’ns’ created rounds, Thy mercies, Lord, extend; Thy truth outlives the narrow bounds Where time and nature end. Safety to man Thy goodness brings, Nor overlooks the beast; Beneath the shadow of Thy wings Thy children choose to rest. From Thee, when creature-streams run low. And mortal comforts die, Perpetual springs of life shall flow, And raise our pleasures high. Though all created light decay, And death close up our eyes, Thy presence makes eternal day, Where clouds can never rise.

Psalms 39:1

• [Psa 39:1] With Firm Resolve I Held My Peace

  With firm resolve I held my peace And spake not either bad or good, Lest I should utter sinful thoughts While wicked men before me stood. While I was dumb my grief was stirred, My heart grew hot with thought suppressed; The while I mused the fire increased, Then to the Lord I made request. Make me, O Lord, to know my end, Teach me the measure of my days, That I may know how frail I am And turn from pride and sinful ways. My time is nothing in Thy sight, Behold, my days are but a span; Yea, truly, at his best estate, A breath, a fleeting breath, is man. Man’s life is passed in vain desire If troubled years be spent for gain; He knows not whose his wealth shall be, And all his toil is but in vain. And now, O Lord, what wait I for? I have no hope except in Thee; Let not ungodly men reproach, From all transgressions set me free. Because Thou didst it I was dumb, I spoke no word of rash complaint; Remove Thy stroke away from me, Beneath Thy chastisement I faint. When Thou for his iniquity Rebukest and correctest man, His beauty is consumed away; How weak his strength, how vain his plan. Lord, hear my prayer, regard my cry; I weep; be Thou my Comforter. I am a stranger here below, A pilgrim as my fathers were. O spare me, Lord, avert Thy wrath, Deal gently with me, I implore, That I may yet recover strength Ere I go hence and be no more.
