104:1 Praise the Lord, O my soul!

O Lord my God, you are magnificent. 2 

You are robed in splendor and majesty.

104:2 He covers himself with light as if it were a garment.

He stretches out the skies like a tent curtain,

40:10 Adorn yourself, then, with majesty and excellency,

and clothe yourself with glory and honor!

[104:1]  1 sn Psalm 104. The psalmist praises God as the ruler of the world who sustains all life.

[59:17]  3 tn Or “righteousness” (KJV, NASB, NIV, NRSV, NLT); NCV “goodness.”

[59:17]  4 tn Or “a breastplate” (traditional; so many English versions); TEV “a coat of armour.”
