Psalms 105:11

105:11 saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan

as the portion of your inheritance.”

Psalms 135:11

135:11 Sihon, king of the Amorites,

and Og, king of Bashan,

and all the kingdoms of Canaan.

Psalms 106:38

106:38 They shed innocent blood –

the blood of their sons and daughters,

whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan.

The land was polluted by bloodshed. ¹ 

[106:38]  ¹ sn Num 35:33-34 explains that bloodshed defiles a land.
