Psalms 105:44

105:44 He handed the territory of nations over to them,

and they took possession of what other peoples had produced, ¹ 

Psalms 55:10

55:10 Day and night they walk around on its walls, ² 

while wickedness and destruction ³  are within it.

[105:44]  ¹ tn Heb “and the [product of the] work of peoples they possessed.”

[55:10]  ² tn Heb “day and night they surround it, upon its walls.” Personified “violence and conflict” are the likely subjects. They are compared to watchmen on the city’s walls.
