106:37 They sacrificed their sons and daughters to demons. ¹ 

Psalms 107:22

107:22 Let them present thank offerings,

and loudly proclaim what he has done! ² 

[106:37]  ¹ tn The Hebrew term שֵׁדִים (shedim, “demons”) occurs only here and in Deut 32:17. Some type of lesser deity is probably in view.

[107:22]  ² tn Heb “and let them proclaim his works with a ringing cry.”
