Psalms 106:8

106:8 Yet he delivered them for the sake of his reputation, ¹ 

that he might reveal his power.

Psalms 145:12

145:12 so that mankind ²  might acknowledge your mighty acts,

and the majestic splendor of your kingdom.

[106:8]  ¹ tn Heb “his name,” which here stands metonymically for God’s reputation.

[145:12]  ² tn Heb “the sons of man.”
