109:29 My accusers will be covered ¹  with shame,

and draped in humiliation as if it were a robe.

[109:29]  ¹ tn Heb “clothed.” Another option is to translate the prefixed verbal forms in this line and the next as jussives (“may my accusers be covered with shame”).

[132:9]  ² tn Or “righteousness.”

[132:16]  ³ tn Heb “and her priests I will clothe [with] deliverance.”

[132:16]  ⁴ tn Heb “[with] shouting they will shout.” The infinitive absolute is used to emphasize the verb.

[132:18]  ⁴ tn Heb “his enemies I will clothe [with] shame.”
