[118:19]  1 tn Heb “the gates of justice.” The gates of the Lord’s temple are referred to here, as v. 20 makes clear. They are called “gates of justice” because they are the entrance to the just king’s palace. This has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[37:14]  2 tn Heb “to cause to fall.”

[37:14]  3 tn Heb “the upright in way,” i.e., those who lead godly lives.

[109:2]  3 tn Heb “for a mouth of evil and a mouth of deceit against me they open, they speak with me [with] a tongue of falsehood.”
