Psalms 122:5

122:5 Indeed, ¹  the leaders sit ²  there on thrones and make legal decisions,

on the thrones of the house of David. ³ 

Psalms 76:3

76:3 There he shattered the arrows, ⁴ 

the shield, the sword, and the rest of the weapons of war. ⁵  (Selah)

[122:5]  ³ tn Heb “Indeed, there they sit [on] thrones for judgment, [on] thrones [belonging] to the house of David.”

[76:3]  ⁴ tn Heb “flames of the bow,” i.e., arrows.

[76:3]  ⁵ tn Heb “shield and sword and battle.” “Battle” probably here stands by metonymy for the weapons of war in general.
