126:6 The one who weeps as he walks along, carrying his bag ¹  of seed,

will certainly come in with a shout of joy, carrying his sheaves of grain. ²

[126:6]  ² tn The Hebrew noun אֲלֻמָּה (’alummah, “sheaf”) occurs only here and in Gen 37:7 in the OT.

[137:1]  ³ sn Psalm 137. The Babylonian exiles lament their condition, vow to remain loyal to Jerusalem, and appeal to God for revenge on their enemies.
