Psalms 143:11

143:11 O Lord, for the sake of your reputation, ¹  revive me! ² 

Because of your justice, rescue me from trouble! ³ 

Psalms 138:7

138:7 Even when I must walk in the midst of danger, ⁴  you revive me.

You oppose my angry enemies, ⁵ 

and your right hand delivers me.

[143:11]  ² tn The imperfect verbal forms in vv. 11-12a are understood as expressing the psalmist’s desire. Note the petitionary tone of vv. 7-10a.
