  3. Penuhpun setan dunia yang mau menumpas kita, jangan gentar melihatnya; iman tak sia-sia! Penghulu kuasa g'lap, meskipun menyergap, Mustahil 'kan menang; kuasanya ditebang dengan sepatah kata.

  4. FirmanNya pertahankan t'rus dan puji hanya Dia! Dengan kuasa Roh Kudus Ia di pihak kita. Kendati hidupmu diambil seteru, Pun harta dan benda, akhirnya kitalah yang punya Kerajaan!

• [Psa 139:9] Thou Lord Of Hosts

  Thou Lord of hosts, whose guiding hand Has brought us here before Thy face, Our spirits wait for Thy command, Our silent hearts implore Thy peace. Those spirits lay their noblest powers As offerings on Thy holy shrine. Thine was the strength that nourished ours; The soldiers of the cross are Thine. While watching on our arms at night We saw Thine angels around us move. We heard Thy call, we felt Thy light, And followed, trusting, to Thy love. Send us wherever Thou wilt, O Lord! Through rugged toil and wearying fight. Thy conquering love shall be our sword, And faith in Thee our truest might. Send down Thy constant aid, we pray. Be Thy pure angels with us still. Thy truth, be that our firmest stay; Our only rest, to do Thy will.

  Thou, Lord, by strictest search hast known My rising up and lying down; My secret thoughts are known to Thee, Known long before conceived by me. Thine eye my bed and path surveys, My public haunts and private ways, Thou know’st what ’tis my lips would vent, My yet unuttered word’s intent. Surrounded by Thy power I stand, On every side I find Thy hand; O skill, for human reach too high! Too dazzling bright for mortal eye! Search, try, O God, my thought and heart, If mischief lurks in any part; Correct me where I go astray, And guide me in Thy perfect way.

Nahum 1:3

• [Nah 1:3] Adore And Tremble, For Our God

  Adore and tremble, for our God Is a consuming fire! His jealous eyes His wrath inflame, And raise His vengeance higher. Almighty vengeance, how it burns! How bright His fury glows! Vast magazines of plagues and storms Lie treasured for his foes. Those heaps of wrath, by slow degrees, Are forced into a flame; But kindled, oh! how fierce they blaze! And rend all nature’s frame. At His approach the mountains flee, And seek a watery grave: The frighted sea makes haste away, And shrinks up every wave. Through the wide air the mighty rocks Are swift as hailstones hurled; Who dares engage His fiery rage That shakes the solid world? Yet, mighty God, Thy sovereign grace Sits regent on the throne; The refuge of Thy chosen race When wrath comes rushing down. Thy hand shall on rebellious kings A fiery tempest pour, While we beneath Thy sheltering wings Thy just revenge adore.
