19:11 Yes, your servant finds moral guidance there; ¹ 

those who obey them receive a rich reward. ²

[25:3]  ³ tn Heb “those who deal in treachery in vain.” The adverb רֵיקָם (reqam, “in vain”) probably refers to the failure (or futility) of their efforts. Another option is to understand it as meaning “without cause” (cf. NIV “without excuse”; NRSV “wantonly treacherous”).

[85:12]  ⁵ tn Heb “what is good.”

[85:12]  ⁶ tn Both “bestow” and “yield” translate the same Hebrew verb (נָתַן, natan). The repetition of the word emphasizes that agricultural prosperity is the direct result of divine blessing.
