Psalms 25:3

25:3 Certainly none who rely on you will be humiliated.

Those who deal in treachery will be thwarted ¹  and humiliated.

Psalms 37:6

37:6 He will vindicate you in broad daylight,

and publicly defend your just cause. ² 

Psalms 78:26

78:26 He brought the east wind through the sky,

and by his strength led forth the south wind.

[25:3]  ¹ tn Heb “those who deal in treachery in vain.” The adverb רֵיקָם (reqam, “in vain”) probably refers to the failure (or futility) of their efforts. Another option is to understand it as meaning “without cause” (cf. NIV “without excuse”; NRSV “wantonly treacherous”).

[37:6]  ² tn Heb “and he will bring out like light your vindication, and your just cause like noonday.”
