Psalms 26:5

26:5 I hate the mob ¹  of evil men,

and do not associate ²  with the wicked.

Psalms 132:14

132:14 He said, ³  “This will be my resting place forever;

I will live here, for I have chosen it. ⁴ 

[26:5]  ¹ tn Heb “assembly, company.”

[26:5]  ² tn Heb “sit.” The psalmist uses the imperfect form of the verb to emphasize that he does not make a practice of associating with such people.

[132:14]  ³ tn The words “he said” are added in the translation to clarify that what follows are the Lord’s words.
