[34:14] 2 tn Heb “seek peace and pursue it.”
[37:11] 3 tn Heb “and they will take delight in (see v. 4) abundance of peace.”
[37:37] 6 tn Heb “for [there is] an end for a man of peace.” Some interpret אַחֲרִית (’akharit, “end”) as referring to offspring (see the next verse and Ps 109:13; cf. NEB, NRSV).
[72:7] 7 tn Heb “sprout up,” like crops. This verse continues the metaphor of rain utilized in v. 6.
[72:7] 8 tn Heb “and [there will be an] abundance of peace until there is no more moon.”
[119:165] 9 tn Heb “great peace [is] to the lovers of your law.”
[119:165] 10 tn Heb “and there is no stumbling to them.”
[120:6] 11 tn The singular participial form probably has a representative function here. The psalmist envisions the typical hater of peace who represents the entire category of such individuals.
