Psalms 35:18

35:18 Then I will give you thanks in the great assembly; ¹ 

I will praise you before a large crowd of people! ² 

Psalms 94:8

94:8 Take notice of this, ³  you ignorant people! ⁴ 

You fools, when will you ever understand?

[35:18]  ¹ sn The great assembly is also mentioned in Ps 22:25.

[35:18]  ² tn Heb “among numerous people.”

[94:8]  ³ tn Heb “understand.” The verb used in v. 7 is repeated here for rhetorical effect. The people referred to here claim God is ignorant of their actions, but the psalmist corrects their faulty viewpoint.
