Psalms 36:11

36:11 Do not let arrogant men overtake me,

or let evil men make me homeless! ¹ 

Psalms 15:3

15:3 He ²  does not slander, ³ 

or do harm to others, ⁴ 

or insult his neighbor. ⁵ 

[36:11]  ¹ tn Heb “let not a foot of pride come to me, and let not the hand of the evil ones cause me to wander as a fugitive.”

[15:3]  ² sn Hebrew literature often assumes and reflects the male-oriented perspective of ancient Israelite society. The principle of the psalm is certainly applicable to all people, regardless of their gender or age.
