37:39 But the Lord delivers the godly; ¹ 

he protects them in times of trouble. ²

104:27 All of your creatures ³  wait for you

to provide them with food on a regular basis. ⁴

119:126 It is time for the Lord to act –

they break your law!

[37:39]  ¹ tn Heb “and the deliverance of the godly [ones] [is] from the Lord.”

[37:39]  ² tn Heb “[he is] their place of refuge in a time of trouble.”

[104:27]  ³ tn Heb “All of them.” The pronoun “them” refers not just to the sea creatures mentioned in vv. 25-26, but to all living things (see v. 24). This has been specified in the translation as “all of your creatures” for clarity.
