38:18 Yes, ¹  I confess my wrongdoing,

and I am concerned about my sins.

[75:9]  ³ tn Heb “I will declare forever.” The object needs to be supplied; God’s just judgment is in view.

[142:2]  ⁴ tn Heb “my trouble before him I declare.”

[71:18]  ⁵ tn Heb “and even unto old age and gray hair.”

[71:18]  ⁶ tn Heb “until I declare your arm to a generation, to everyone who comes your power.” God’s “arm” here is an anthropomorphism that symbolizes his great strength.
