  1. Di gunung dan di lurah, di tiap jalanku, di padang dan di hutan, dekatlah Tuhanku. Di darat dan angkasa Tuhanku beserta; Dimana-mana saja Tuhanku hadirlah.	Mzm 73:23

Thou they plotted their schemes against Thee and Thy might, In their purpose they cannot succeed; Thou wilt certainly make them turn backward in flight, For Thine arrows are ready to speed. Be Thou then high exalted, Jehovah our God, And arise in the weight of Thy might; We shall sing of Thy strength and omnipotent rod; In Thy praises shall be our delight.

  Brood o’er us with Thy sheltering wing, ’Neath which our spirits blend Like brother birds, that soar and sing, And on the same branch bend. The arrow that doth wound the dove Darts not from those who watch and love. If thou the bending reed would break By thought or word unkind, Pray that His Spirit you partake, Who loved and healed mankind: Seek holy thoughts and heavenly strain, That make men one in love remain. Learn, too, that wisdom’s rod is given For faith to kiss, and know; That greetings glorious from high heaven, Whence joys supernal flow, Come from that Love, divinely near, Which chastens pride and earthborn fear. Through God, who gave that word of might Which swelled creation’s lay: “Let there be light, and there was light.” What chased the clouds away? ’Twas Love whose finger traced aloud A bow of promise on the cloud. Thou to whose power our hope we give, Free us from human strife. Fed by Thy love divine we live, For Love alone is life; And life most sweet, as heart to heart Speaks kindly when we meet and part.

  Who trusts in God, a strong abode In Heav’n and earth possesses; Who looks in love to Christ above, No fear his heart oppresses. Though Satan’s wrath beset our path, And worldly scorn assail us; While Thou art near we will not fear, Thy strength shall never fail us.   Lord of the worlds above, how pleasant and how fair The dwellings of Thy love, Thine earthly temples are! To Thine abode, my heart aspires with warm desires To see my God.   O Lord, how manifold the works In wisdom wrought by Thee; The wealth of Thy creation fills The earth and mighty sea. Let God rejoice in all His works, And let His works proclaim Forevermore their Maker’s praise And glorify His Name. While life shall last my thankful lips A song to God will raise, And while my being I possess, My Maker I will praise.
