[42:10]  1 tc Heb “with a shattering in my bones my enemies taunt me.” A few medieval Hebrew mss and Symmachus’ Greek version read “like” instead of “with.”

[42:10]  2 sn “Where is your God?” The enemies ask this same question in v. 3.

[50:7]  3 tn The words “he says” are supplied in the translation for clarification. God’s charges against his people follow.

[50:7]  4 tn Heb “Israel, and I will testify against you.” The imperative “listen” is understood in the second line by ellipsis (note the preceding line).

[68:28]  5 tn Heb “God has commanded your strength.” The statement is apparently addressed to Israel (see v. 26).
