Puji, Hai Jiwaku, Puji Tuhan [KJ.9]
1. Puji, hai jiwaku, puji Tuhan selagi ada nafasmu!
Allahku patutlah ku agungkan sepanjang umur hidupku!
Hayatku Dia yang beri: Dia kupuji tak henti.

2. Jangan engkau pertaruhkan nasib
kepada insan yang fana.
Juga bangsawan yang paling baik
hilang bersama niatnya.
Hidup manusia lenyap,
Hanyalah Allah yang tetap.

1. Andai 'ku punya banyak lidah dan punya suara yang besar,
akan kugubah madah indah dan 'ku menyanyi bergemar memuji
kasih Allahku yang dicurahkan kepadaku.
2. Janganlah diam, hai jiwaku, dan kau, ragaku, bangunlah!
Nyatakanlah kegemaranmu atas berkat, anugerah, kar'na selama
Hidupku akan kupuji Allahku.

My life flows on in endless song;
Above earth’s lamentation
I hear the sweet though far off hymn
That hails a new creation:
Through all the tumult and the strife
I hear the music ringing;
It finds an echo in my soul—
How can I keep from singing?What though my joys and comforts die?
The Lord my Savior liveth;
What though the darkness gather round!
Songs in the night He giveth:
No storm can shake my inmost calm
While to that refuge clinging;
Since Christ is Lord of Heav’n and earth,
