Psalms 69:23

69:23 May their eyes be blinded! ¹ 

Make them shake violently! ² 

Psalms 105:28

105:28 He made it dark; ³ 

they did not disobey his orders. ⁴ 

[69:23]  ¹ tn Heb “may their eyes be darkened from seeing.”

[69:23]  ² tn Heb “make their hips shake continually.”

[105:28]  ³ tn Heb “he sent darkness and made it dark.”

[105:28]  ⁴ tn Heb “they did not rebel against his words.” Apparently this refers to Moses and Aaron, who obediently carried out God’s orders.
